Bremen Braves (Midlothian, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Richards Bulldogs (Oak Lawn, IL), 56-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Bremen upgrades its record to 6-20 on the season. The Braves host Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 12-14. Sandburg lost 80-62 in their recent league bout against Bolingbrook (Bolingbrook, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Richards will attempt to upgrade on its 10-15 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 14-11 record after their 58-57 league loss to Evergreen Park (Evergreen Park, IL).
