Cassville Wildcats (Cassville, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Nevada Tigers (Nevada, MO), 52-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Cassville upgrades its record to 8-12 on the season. The Wildcats host Lamar (Lamar, MO) to play the Tigers in a Big 8 bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Tigers play the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks (Pleasant Hill, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Nevada will attempt to upgrade on its 9-9 season record. The Roosters/Chicks go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 70-59 league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MO).
