Louisiana High School Basketball - Catholic of Pointe Coupee can't hold off North Central

The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets basketball team (New Roads, LA), was nudged 56-55 in Friday's league battle with the host North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA)
The Hurricanes now possess a 17-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ville Platte for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3. North Central will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 74-46 league win over Mamou (Mamou, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-14.
The Hornets (8-13) will now prepare for their battle against False River (New Roads, LA). The Gators come into the 1A District 6 battle with a 10-20 record. In their last battle, False River was nudged by Opelousas Catholic (Opelousas, LA), 75-51, in a league battle.
