The Chapmanville Regional Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Winfield Generals to 47 in the Tigers league win on Friday.

The Tigers (12-6) will now prepare for their outing against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors go into the Coalfield AA outing with a 10-5 record. In their last outing, Wyoming East thwarted Mount View (Welch, WV), 55-32, in a league outing.

The Generals now own a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Hurricane for a non-league outing on Tuesday, February 6. Winfield will encounter a Redskins squad coming off a 53-46 league loss to George Washington (Charleston, WV). The Redskins record now stands at 9-7.
