Louisiana High School Basketball - Port Barre overwhelmed by Church Point

The Church Point Bears basketball team scored 85 points and restricted the visiting Port Barre Red Devils to 48 in the Bears league victory on Friday.
The Bears now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwest for a 3A District 4 contest on Monday, February 5. Church Point will battle a Raiders team coming off a 72-67 non-league loss to Northside (Lafayette, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 17-5.
The Red Devils (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District 4 contest with a 14-14 record. In their last contest, Ville Platte triumphed over North Central (Lebeau, LA), 78-69, in a non-league contest.
