Iowa High School Basketball - Clarinda overwhelmed by Clarke

The Clarke Indians basketball team scored 81 points and restricted the visiting Clarinda Cardinals to 42 in the Indians non-league victory on Friday.
The Indians now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chariton for a South Central contest on Saturday, February 3. Clarke will battle a Chargers team coming off a 70-61 non-league win over Wayne (Corydon, IA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-10.
The Cardinals (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Creston (Creston, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league contest with a 7-10 record. In their last contest, Creston triumphed over Red Oak (Red Oak, IA), 83-71, in a league contest.
