The Monroe Cheesemakers basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Clinton Cougars to 38 in the Cheesemakers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cheesemakers now sport a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Milton for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Monroe will battle a Red Hawks team coming off a 57-53 league win over DeForest (DeForest, WI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 10-8.
The Cougars (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Williams Bay (Williams Bay, WI). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 3-16 record. In their last contest, Williams Bay was routed by Johnson Creek (Johnson Creek, WI), 55-47, in a league contest.
