The Madison Prep Academy basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Doyle Tigers to 51 in the league triumph on Friday.
The now sport a 23-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty Magnet for a non-league contest on Sunday, February 4. Madison Prep Academy will battle a Patriots team coming off a 41-39 league win over Catholic-B.R. (Baton Rouge, LA). The Patriots record now stands at 24-4.
The Tigers (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Port Allen (Port Allen, LA). The Pelicans enter the 3A District 6 contest with a 5-16 record. In their last contest, Port Allen was routed by Southern Lab (Baton Rouge, LA), 56-49, in a non-league contest.
