Upper Scioto Valley Rams (McGuffey, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Elgin Comets (Marion, OH), 72-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Upper Scioto Valley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Coldwater (Coldwater, OH) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 13-3. Coldwater won 65-60 in their recent league bout against Versailles (Versailles, OH)

Next up, the Comets play the Danville Blue Devils (Danville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 2-17 record after their 80-51 league loss to Northmor (Galion, OH).
