The Fort Edward Flying Forts basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Hadley Luzerne Eagles to 42 in the Flying Forts league triumph on Friday.

The Flying Forts now sport a 8-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corinth for a Section 2 Adirondack contest on Saturday, February 3. Fort Edward will battle a Riverhawks team coming off a 52-42 league win over Whitehall (Whitehall, NY). The Riverhawks record now stands at 10-6.

The Eagles (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Duanesburg (Delanson, NY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 15-2 record. In their last contest, Duanesburg ran past Galway (Galway, NY), 75-19, in a league contest.
