Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Thomas Aquinas topped by French Settlement

The French Settlement Lions basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting St. Thomas Aquinas Falcons to 67 in the Lions league victory on Friday.

The Lions now sport a 26-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pope John Paul II for a 2A District 7 contest on Monday, February 5. French Settlement will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 62-45 league win over Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Jaguars record now stands at 21-7.

The Falcons (15-10) will now prepare for their contest against Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The come into the non-league contest with a 132-238 record. In their last contest, Non Varsity Opponent dropped by Miller School of Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 82-81, in a non-league contest.
