The Comets now possess a 18-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pana for a South Central battle on Tuesday, February 6. Greenville will confront a Panthers team coming off a 52-50 non-league loss to Taylorville (Taylorville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 7-19.

The Miners (7-20) will now prepare for their battle against Litchfield (Litchfield, IL). The Purple Panthers come into the South Central battle with a 17-10 record. In their last battle, Litchfield trounced Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL), 61-36, in a league battle.
