The Gretna East Griffins basketball team (Gretna, NE), dropped 61-48 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Lincoln Southwest Silver Hawks (Lincoln, NE)

The Silver Hawks now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus for a A District TBD battle on Tuesday, February 6. Lincoln Southwest will battle a Discoverers team coming off a 78-63 league loss to Omaha North (Omaha, NE). The Discoverers record now stands at 5-13.

The Griffins (4-12) will now prepare for their battle against Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Storm come into the non-league battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Elkhorn South beat Lincoln Northeast (Lincoln, NE), 61-51, in a league battle.
