The Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons (Madisonville, KY), 68-47 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Colonels (18-3) will now prepare for their outing against Webster County (Dixon, KY). The Trojans go into the District 6 outing with a 12-10 record. In their last outing, Webster County was trounced by Union County (Morganfield, KY), 54-51, in a league outing.

The Maroons now own a 12-11 record. They play next when they host Hopkins County Central for a District 7 outing on Monday, February 5. Madisonville-North Hopkins will clash with a Storm squad coming off a 93-84 non-league loss to Clinton County (Albany, KY). The Storm record now stands at 6-14.
