With the victory, Marquette improves its record to 17-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Putnam County (Granville, IL) to confront the Panthers in a Tri-County battle on Saturday, February 3. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 6-20. Putnam County won 29-27 in their recent league battle against Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL)

The Mallards (8-14) will now prepare for their battle against Leland (Leland, IL). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 8-15 record. In their last battle, Leland was routed by Illinois Math & Science Academy (Aurora, IL), 55-21, in a non-league battle.
