The Howell Rebels basketball team (Farmingdale, NJ), was nudged 62-58 in Friday's league battle with the host Manalapan Braves (Englishtown, NJ)
The Braves now sport a 13-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southern Regional for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 15.
The Rebels (12-7) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Creek (Egg Harbor City, NJ). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 3-19 record. In their last battle, Cedar Creek was nudged by Ocean City (Ocean City, NJ), 76-34, in a league battle.
