The Kempsville Chiefs (Virginia Beach, VA) basketball knocked off the host Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks (Norfolk, VA), 71-58 in Friday's non-league test.
The Chiefs (16-3) will now prepare for their test against Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles go into the Beach test with a 16-4 record. In their last test, Landstown notched a victory over Salem (Virginia Beach, VA), 65-31, in a league test.
The Mighty Oaks now own a 20-4 record. They play next when they travel to Kecoughtan for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Norfolk Collegiate will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 62-50 league win over Phoebus (Hampton, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 9-8.
