The Woodland Cardinals (Marble Hill, MO) basketball nipped the visiting Kennett Indians (Kennett, MO), 67-64 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cardinals (15-1) will now prepare for their test against Meadow Heights (Patton, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Meadow Heights was tipped by Leopold (Leopold, MO), 55-53, in a league test.

The Indians now own a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Sikeston for a Southeast Missouri test on Monday, February 5. Kennett will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 87-48 league win over Poplar Bluff (Poplar Bluff, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 20-0.
