Kickapoo Chiefs (Springfield, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO), 71-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Kickapoo upgrades its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Glendale (Springfield, MO) to play the Falcons in a Ozarks bout on Friday, February 9. The Falcons come into the bout with a record of 13-8. Glendale won 83-79 in their recent league bout against Lebanon (Lebanon, MO)

Next up, the Zizzers play the Forsyth Panthers (Forsyth, MO) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. West Plains will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 64-52 non-league loss to Mansfield (Mansfield, MO).
