Maine High School Basketball - Lincoln Academy trounces Leavitt

The Lincoln Academy Eagles (Newcastle, ME) basketball crushed the visiting Leavitt Hornets (Turner, ME), 76-28 in Friday's league test.
The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last test, Mount View was trounced by Oceanside (Rockland, ME), 107-46, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 3-13 record. They play next when they host Maine Central Institute for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Leavitt will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 53-31 non-league win over Morse (Bath, ME). The Huskies record now stands at 6-10.
