West Virginia High School Basketball - Lewis County fells North Marion

February 2, 2024: Weston, WV 26452

Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) backers were in high spirits Friday as they saw their basketball squad overcome the visiting North Marion Huskies (Farmington, WV), 59-49 in a league challenge.

With the victory, Lewis County improves its record to 11-6 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to confront the Buccaneers in a Big Ten challenge on Wednesday, February 7. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 10-5.

Next up, the Huskies confront the Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV) in a Freelance challenge, on Saturday, February 3. North Marion will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Red Riders come into the challenge with a 7-10 record after their 61-49 non-league win over John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV).
