The Sumter County Panthers basketball team (Americus, GA), dropped 57-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Macon County Bulldogs (Montezuma, GA)

The Bulldogs now sport a 21-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wilcox County for a non-league battle on Thursday, February 8.

The Panthers (6-15) will now prepare for their battle against Berrien (Nashville, GA). The Rebels come into the AA Region 1 battle with a 1-21 record. In their last battle, Berrien dropped by Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA), 79-40, in a league battle.
