In Friday's non-league outing, the Marshall Christian Academy Guardians (Marshall, TX) basketball squad edged the host Spring Hill Panthers (Longview, TX), by a margin of 42-37.
The Guardians (11-11) will now prepare for their outing against East Texas Homeschool Sports (Longview, TX). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 16-7 record. In their last outing, East Texas Homeschool Sports was tipped by CHAAMP HomeSchool (Mt. Pleasant, TX), 47-42, in a non-league outing.
The Panthers now own a 12-15 record. They play next when they host Gilmer for a 4A Region III District 17 outing on Tuesday, February 6. Spring Hill will clash with a Buckeyes squad coming off a 57-34 league loss to Chapel Hill (Tyler, TX). The Buckeyes record now stands at 4-9.
