The Southwest Valley basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Martensdale-St. Mary's Blue Devils to 46 in the league victory on Friday.
The now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bedford/South Page for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 3. Southwest Valley will battle a team coming off a 65-62 non-league win over Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The record now stands at 14-3.
The Blue Devils (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Woodward Academy (Woodward, IA). The Knights come into the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Woodward Academy lost by West Central Valley (Stuart, IA), 59-47, in a non-league match.
