The Minarets Mustangs (O'Neals, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Parlier Panthers (Parlier, CA), 45-41 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (4-14) will now prepare for their test against Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA). The Badgers go into the Northwest Sequoia test with a 5-18 record. In their last test, Yosemite was tipped by Caruthers (Caruthers, CA), 48-36, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 7-19 record. They play next when they travel to Riverdale for a Northwest Sequoia test on Tuesday, February 6. Parlier will encounter a Cowboys squad coming off a 63-33 league loss to Chowchilla (Chowchilla, CA). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-12.
