Ohio High School Basketball - Mississinawa Valley nudges Tri-County North

February 2, 2024: Union City, OH 45390

In Friday's league outing, the Mississinawa Valley Blackhawks (Union City, OH) basketball squad edged the visiting Tri-County North Panthers (Lewisburg, OH), by a margin of 53-46.

The Blackhawks (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against Preble Shawnee (Camden, OH). The Arrows go into the Western Ohio outing with a 16-3 record. In their last match, Preble Shawnee was nipped by Badin (Hamilton, OH), 45-37, in a non-league match.

With the defeat, Tri-County North moves to 1-16 on the year. The Panthers host Covington (Covington, OH) to meet the Buccs in a non-league match on Saturday, February 3. The Buccs enter the match with a record of 7-11. Covington lost 40-38 in their recent league match against Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH)
