The Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood Mavericks basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Parshall/North Shore Braves to 43 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Friday.
The Mavericks now sport a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Ryan for a B District 8 contest on Monday, February 5. Mohall/Lansford/Sherwood will battle a Lions team coming off a 44-43 non-league loss to Trinity (Dickinson, ND). The Lions record now stands at 13-2.
The Braves (8-8) will now prepare for their contest against Powers Lake/Burke Central (Powers Lake, ND). The come into the B District 7 contest with a 11-6 record. In their last contest, Powers Lake/Burke Central triumphed over White Shield (Roseglen, ND), 57-47, in a non-league contest.
