Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Sehome Mariners (Bellingham, WA) and the host Nooksack Valley Pioneers (Everson, WA), saw Sehome's basketball squad knock off Nooksack Valley by a count of 55-41.

With the victory, Sehome upgrades its record to 10-10 on the campaign.

Next up, the Pioneers play the Meridian Trojans (Bellingham, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Wednesday, February 7. Nooksack Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 10-10 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-10 record after their 53-46 league win over Squalicum (Bellingham, WA).
