Sacred Heart Prep Gators (Atherton, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pinewood Panthers (Los Altos Hills, CA), 68-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Sacred Heart Prep moves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Gators travel to Menlo School (Atherton, CA) to confront the Knights in a West Bay challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-9. Menlo School won 67-66 in their recent league challenge against Harker (San Jose, CA)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Summit Shasta Black Bears (Daly City, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 3. Pinewood will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record. The Black Bears come into the challenge with a 16-3 record after their 2-0 league win over San Francisco Christian (San Francisco, CA).
