The Powers Cruisers basketball team scored 38 points and restricted the visiting Yoncalla Eagles to 24 in the Cruisers league victory on Friday.

The Cruisers now sport a 4-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glendale for a 1A Skyline contest on Friday, February 9. Powers will battle a Pirates team coming off a 54-19 league loss to Pacific (Port Orford, OR). The Pirates record now stands at 0-13.

The Eagles (4-19) will now prepare for their contest against Riddle (Riddle, OR). The Irish come into the 1A Skyline contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Riddle was defeated by North Douglas (Drain, OR), 70-43, in a league contest.
