The Ridgeview College Prep Lions (San Tan Valley, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting South Ridge Mavericks (Phoenix, AZ), 73-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Lions (11-6) will now prepare for their test against Heritage Academy Gateway (Queen Creek, AZ). The Heroes go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record.

The Mavericks now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Empower College Prep for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. South Ridge will encounter a Wolf squad coming off a 82-47 non-league win over Mission Heights Prep (Casa Grande, AZ). The Wolf record now stands at 9-4.
