The Villa Grove Blue Devils basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Unity Christian Lions to 32 in the Blue Devils league triumph on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Argenta-Oreana for a Lincoln Prairie contest on Tuesday, February 6. Villa Grove will meet a Bombers team coming off a 45-43 league win over Cumberland (Toledo, IL). The Bombers record now stands at 15-10.
The Lions (1-22) will now prepare for their contest against Arcola (Arcola, IL). The Purple Riders enter the Lincoln Prairie contest with a 19-6 record. In their last contest, Arcola triumphed over Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL), 55-36, in a league contest.
