The Berlin Mountaineers basketball team (Berlin, NH), dropped 54-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Mascoma Royals (Canaan, NH)
The Royals now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopkinton for a non-league battle on Monday, February 5. Mascoma will confront a Hawks team coming off a 48-43 non-league win over Newport (Newport, NH). The Hawks record now stands at 12-2.
The Mountaineers (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against White Mountains (Whitefield, NH). The Spartans come into the Division III battle with a 10-7 record. In their last battle, White Mountains ran past Newfound Regional (Bristol, NH), 30-21, in a league contest.
