Poplar Bluff Mules (Poplar Bluff, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Bloomfield Wildcats (Bloomfield, MO), 52-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Poplar Bluff upgrades its record to 5-11 on the season. The Mules travel to Saxony Lutheran (Jackson, MO) to play the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 13-6. Saxony Lutheran lost 66-37 in their recent non-league bout against Notre Dame (Cape Girardeau, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Senath-Hornersville Lions (Senath, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Bloomfield will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
