Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Brandywine Bulldogs (Wilmington, DE), 53-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Mount Pleasant upgrades its record to 5-8 on the campaign. The Green Knights travel to Christiana (Newark, DE) to play the Vikings in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Vikings come into the bout with a record of 8-8. Christiana won 46-24 in their recent non-league bout against Delcastle Technical (Wilmington, DE)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Conrad Science Red Wolves (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Brandywine will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Red Wolves come into the bout with a 10-3 record after their 58-31 non-league win over Newark Charter School (Newark, DE).
