The Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD) basketball felled the visiting Langford Lions (Langford, SD), 44-29 in Friday's league test.
The Braves (7-9) will now prepare for their test against Clark/Willow Lake (Clark, SD). The Cyclones go into the non-league test with a 6-10 record. In their last test, Clark/Willow Lake thwarted Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD), 46-32, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wilmot for a B Region 1 test on Saturday, February 3. Langford will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 62-32 non-league loss to Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD). The Wolves record now stands at 2-14.
