The Okeene Whippets basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Burlington Elks to 17 in the Whippets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Whippets now sport a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Drummond for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Okeene will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 68-36 league win over Covington-Douglas (Covington, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 13-10.
The Elks (3-19) will now prepare for their contest against Cherokee (Cherokee, OK). The Chiefs enter the Cherokee Strip contest with a 12-7 record.
