The Columbus Sailors basketball team (Waterloo, IA), was overwhelmed 75-46 in Friday's league battle with the host Jesup J-Hawks (Jesup, IA)
The J-Hawks now possess a 15-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wapsie Valley for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Monday, February 5. Jesup will confront a Warriors team coming off a 56-36 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 8-9.
The Sailors (5-15) will now prepare for their battle against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Falcons come into the North Iowa Cedar - East battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Aplington-Parkersburg trounced Hudson (Hudson, IA), 55-43, in a league battle.
