In Friday's league outing, the New Bern Christian Academy (New Bern, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Community Christian Cyclones (Wilson, NC), by a margin of 51-30.

The (16-6) will now prepare for their outing against Bethel Christian Academy (Kinston, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Bethel Christian Academy was trounced by Wilmington Christian Academy (Wilmington, NC), 40-23, in a league outing.

The Cyclones now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southside Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, February 9.
