The Dike-New Hartford Wolverines basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting Grundy Center Spartans to 42 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Monday, February 5. Dike-New Hartford will battle a Cyclones team coming off a 52-34 non-league win over South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 14-6.

The Spartans (18-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 8-9 record. In their last contest, Wapsie Valley was routed by Hudson (Hudson, IA), 56-36, in a league contest.
