The Oelwein Huskies (Oelwein, IA) basketball felled the host Gladbrook-Reinbeck Rebels (Reinbeck, IA), 52-38 in Friday's non-league test.

The Huskies (8-13) will now prepare for their test against Independence (Independence, IA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Independence was beaten by Marion (Marion, IA), 67-20, in a league test.

The Rebels now own a 11-9 record. They play next when they host Union for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 64-34 non-league loss to Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA). The Knights record now stands at 4-17.
