The Wapsie Valley Warriors basketball team (Fairbank, IA), dropped 56-36 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA)
The Pirates now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Aplington-Parkersburg for a North Iowa Cedar - East battle on Saturday, February 3. Hudson will confront a Falcons team coming off a 64-34 non-league win over Union (La Porte City, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 14-4.
The Warriors (8-9) will now prepare for their battle against Jesup (Jesup, IA). The J-Hawks come into the North Iowa Cedar - East battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Jesup beat Columbus (Waterloo, IA), 75-46, in a league battle.
