The Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] Wolverines basketball team scored 84 points and restricted the visiting International Falls Broncos to 27 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Friday.
The Wolverines now sport a 19-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hibbing for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] will battle a Bluejackets team coming off a 63-39 non-league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MN). The Bluejackets record now stands at 3-15.
The Broncos (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Roseau (Roseau, MN). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Roseau was routed by Badger/Greenbush-Middle River (Badger, MN), 56-53, in a non-league contest.
