The Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) basketball crushed the host Islesboro Central Eagles (Islesboro, ME), 57-7 in Friday's league test.
The Cavaliers (16-0) will now prepare for their test against Carrabec (North Anson, ME). The Cobras go into the non-league test with a 10-6 record. In their last test, Carrabec walloped Temple Academy (Waterville, ME), 62-29, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 7-9 record. They play next when they host Vinalhaven for a D South test on Saturday, February 3. Islesboro Central will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 43-40 league loss to North Haven (North Haven, ME). The Vikings record now stands at 5-9.
