The West Platte Bluejays (Weston, MO) basketball knocked off the host Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO), 48-29 in Friday's league test.
The Bluejays (12-9) will now prepare for their test against DeKalb (DeKalb, MO). The Tigers go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record.
The Cardinals now own a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to North Platte for a KCI test on Tuesday, February 6. Lawson will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 63-33 league loss to Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 16-5.
