Pike Valley Panthers (Scandia, KS) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Lincoln Leopards (Lincoln, KS), 44-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Pike Valley upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Osborne (Osborne, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a Northern Plains bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 10-2.

Next up, the Leopards play the LaCrosse Leopards (LaCrosse, KS) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Leopards come into the bout with a 8-5 record after their 38-32 non-league win over Ness City (Ness City, KS).
