Iowa High School Basketball - Starmont ripped by Lisbon

The Lisbon Lions basketball team scored 47 points and held the visiting Starmont Stars to 10 in the Lions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prince of Peace Prep for a Tri-Rivers - East bout on Monday, February 5. Lisbon will play a Irish squad coming off a 56-7 non-league loss to Springville (Springville, IA). The Irish record now stands at 2-19.
Next up, the Stars play the Central City Wildcats (Central City, IA) in a Tri-Rivers - West bout, on Monday, February 5. Starmont will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 63-56 league loss to East Buchanan (Winthrop, IA).
