The Manchester Central Little Green (Manchester, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH), 51-44 in Friday's league test.

The Little Green (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Bishop Guertin (Nashua, NH). The Cardinals go into the Division I test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Bishop Guertin was tipped by Concord Christian (Concord, NH), 47-28, in a non-league test.

The Tomahawks now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Bedford for a Division I test on Tuesday, February 6. Merrimack will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 71-21 league win over Nashua South (Nashua, NH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-0.
