Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH), 54-37 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marietta upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Federal Hocking (Stewart, OH) to play the Lancers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Federal Hocking lost 44-25 in their recent league bout against Waterford (Waterford, OH)

Next up, the Zeps play the Buckeye Local Panthers (Rayland, OH) in a Mid-Ohio Valley bout, on Monday, February 5. Shenandoah will attempt to upgrade on its 8-12 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 58-41 non-league loss to Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH).
