Mark Twain Tigers (Center, MO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Van-Far Indians (Vandalia, MO), 38-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Mark Twain upgrades its record to 3-13 on the season. The Tigers host South Callaway (Mokane, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-17. South Callaway lost 55-23 in their recent league bout against Linn (Linn, MO)

Next up, the Indians clash with the Wellsville-Middletown Tigers (Wellsville, MO) in a Eastern Missouri challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Van-Far will attempt to improve on its 1-16 season record.
